Hello Everyone!!! Well its been months since I tracked my calories on here, but I am BACK! :) AND, for the first time, I am going to participate in the online community...because I know that support WORKS and will definitely motivate me to stick with m plan!!

I am in my 20's and have 15-20 pounds to lose...and would LOVE to know what some of you in a similiar situation have been doing to shed those pounds!

Its a beautiful sunny day here...tomorrow is the start of a NEW month...and I am feeling motivated and READY to do this!! :)

    Welcome Back!! Just started here on MFP and LOVE it!! I'm doing a low carb, high protein diet and counting calories. I'm 30 years old and need to lose about 25 lbs. It was the end of eating whatever I wanted (mostly fast food everyday) and sitting around when my DR. told me I was very overweight. So.. Here I am looking for all the support and encouragement I can find.

    Doing Atkins. Down 33 lbs in 10 weeks. It works but I'm really missing carbs

    There are so many "tricks" to tricking your mind and tastebuds into thinking they are getting carbs :) For pasta use spaghetti squash or shirataki noodles (YUMMY!!) For potatoes use cauliflower. You can even shred it and fry it crispy for faux hashbrowns. For bread I recommend the Ole High Fiber Low Carb wraps.
