Does anyone have a lawsuit with the company/ies (unsure if its two different comps. or if the same company makes both drugs) of Depacote (splling?) and Zoloft?

My mom has just called me and said her lawyers are saying they arent sure how much she will get yet (my brother was born with birth defects; biladeral cleft lip and pallet) but they have given her a pretty large number and says thats what she is looking as a minimum. Her lawyers think the company/ies will try to settle out of court and get it done and over with. But she already seems to have everything planned out, where the money is going/how it will be spent!

To me it seems like a rediculously high number...more then most people make in a lifetime! But I guess if you took into consideration the fact that my brother has been having surgery since he was a few months old, and will probably have them until he is 18...I don't know.

Anyways I'm just worried shes getting ahead of herself. So I was curious if anyone else has been through it or knows anyone who has, and if so, would you mind sharing how much the settlement was? If you would rather you can send me a personal message.

Sorry to hear about your family's issues, but she can't spend the money til she gets a check. I'm certain that your brother will be fine when all is said and done, they are doing miraculous work in this area.
