Fiber Options

So I recently cut down on my carbs, and I'm finding it difficult to find good fiber-rich foods without my cereals and breads. Sure I get a little bit in veggies and other foods, but I'd really like to find a good go-to low / no carb fiber food, so I don't have to take more supplements. Any suggestions?

I totally love Ole! Healthy Healthy Life Style Xtreme Wellness High Fiber, Low Carb- Tortillas. For 71 calories, you get 12g of fiber. It's low carb and high protein for a tortilla. They sell it at Walmart for about $3.

Here is a site I found that lists some options: http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/nutrition/a/fibercounts.htm It lists the carb and fiber counts for all of the items on the list. Some that I especially like are flax, chia, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, blackberries, and asparagus.

The problem with that is that fiber is a kind of carb. You'll notice how, under nutrition facts, fiber is a subcategory of carbohydrates. That being said, you should look for foods that are high in fiber relative to the amount of carbs. For example, I bought smartwheat bread that is only 8g carbs per slice, 3g of which is fiber.
I'd definitely just find a vegetable you're a big fan of - maybe baby carrots?

Beans have carbs, but they are SO fiber dense, I think you will get a good bang for your buck using them.
