so frustrated!!!!!!

with myself. This summer has me so off track. Just when i try to get back to my routine something messes it up. I know that i need to make time for exercise but things that cant be helped keep getting in the way. I always exercised on sun, tue, thurs at the gym. Mon and wed i work 9 am til 9pm. Fri and sat after work i usuall work in the yard or go for a long walk, something anything to keep active. But school let out and life keeps getting in the way. I was back on track for 2 days then i threw my back out, down for 1-2 weeks. I was back at it again and my sister went into labor 4 weeks early i was her coach. Then i tried again and my neighbors house burned. Not to mention the countless long camping weekend and vacations we have had this summer. I CANT WAIT FOR SCHOOL TO START. How do you all do it? I need to get back to MY routine. The good part is i only put on 2-4 pounds at the beginning and have atleast been maitaining all summer. I just needed to vent. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx in advance.

    I get up at 5 am to exercise. I also work long hours and find that I am just plain done at the end of the day so morning is the only time which works for me. Also when I used to exercise in the evening I had kids activities or other things get in the way. I also didn't want to miss out on the family time. It's tough at first, but you get used to it rather quickly. It's extremely rare to have a scheduling conflict that early. I really look forward to my "me" time in the morning.

    Also, I bought a jogging trapoline for days I get out to do something. I can jog in place while watching TV and still be home with the kids.

    Good luck, just keep trying to be creative, you'll figure it out.
