I can resist: Pre-made foods that are loaded with sodium and calories, pre-packaged baked goods, sugary sodas and 99% of the "convenience foods" out there. I drive past a fast food place and at one time it smelled great, now it just smells like greasy garbage food. Zero urge for baloney, white bread or Miracle Whip. Shudder...

I am weak for: baked goods. Once I start trying them, it is super hard for me to stop. Sadly forces me to have an all or nothing attitude with desserts. Sooo hard to do as a pastry chef!

I would rather go hungry than eat McDonalds, Burger King, etc. I did try a KFC a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised but I won't go out of my way to eat it. Same for curry. I would rather go hungry.

I can't stand ALL Little Debbie "foods" or snacks! They're just disgusting to me and so processed. I also don't like other processed and pre-packaged bakery items like the ones that you can find in gas stations, convenience stores and vending machines. They're just disgusting to me, and I always say that if I'm going to eat something with high calories, it had better taste AMAZING, which the Little Debbie cakes definitely DON'T taste amazing!

I totally agree. Although I would call myself an ammuater baker and after I make something I eat a small portion then hurry to give the rest away.

Anything processed and I have no issue avoiding carbs unless they are vegetables (mostly) and fruits (occasionally).

Chips and sodas I have no problem staying away from.

Sweets, on the other hand, are a different story!

.....Uh.......... Still thinking............... :indifferent: :ohwell:
This would be me! Sadly, if it's not healthy, I love it. I'm envious of folks who don't like chocolate.

Mayo/Miracle Whip. It's Gross.I don't eat condiments in general though. I don't even keep ketchup and mustard in the house

I agree with you on this. I think my main problem is I've never found a food I didn't really like, but Mayonnaise...I have no problem avoiding.

    Things I can do without,

    * Steak or any red meat, unappealing and looking at it makes me want to gag. (Though I love Chicken, Pork, Fish - etc)
    * Chips. I like them, but don't crave them, .. I buy them thinking I will eat them but then they just about hit their expiry date.
    * McDonalds. Never crave it, can live without. Only do-able thing is their Milkshakes but even then I have it like once every 5 months for one of those.
    * Pie. Pie is.. Okay, I am more of a cake person but try and cut my sliced in half, half. Lol.
    * Icecream - this is one of those phenomenons. I DO like it, but don't necessarily crave, crave it. But it's 50/50

    Downfalls:
    Chocolate.
    'Nuff said.

  • You guys are making me so jealous! I crave all that stuff (cakes, cookies, candy, chips, cheetos... oh man) but luckily I'm finding it okay avoiding them.

Easiest thing for me is soda, I barely ever had a diet soda as it was so now it's fine not having any at all! Same thing for juice!
