Back into a bad cycle of "tomorrow I'll be better". You guessed it, I'm at about a week of "tomorrows" and getting worried. MFPals, what have you done to break through these get back on track?

That'sa simple one to answer!! Tomorrow never comes. If you can change your mentality from "i'll be better tomorrow" to "tomorrow never comes" you are already 10 steps ahead of where you are now!

Positive thinking is the first step in weight loss. The second and subsequent steps are SOOO much easier if you start believing in yourself. Happy to help if you want xx
  • i was in that slump until my daughter slapped my leg (playing around) then laughed and said "look mom! its jiggly!....hahaha you are so soft!"

I push myself, even when I don't want to, I still make an effort. I look at my loss, even if it is just 10 pounds as a great accomplishement. When I push myself I find that I feel more accomplished.

whenever I catch making excuses such as " I'll start tommorow. , I have to say" today's decisions will be the results of tomorrow. "So even if I slip I got to quickly get back on track :)

Thanks for the great advice. Starting this morning, I am back on track, recording food. Not just the confidence, I physically feel much better when I am eating the right way. Thanks for taking the time to offer your valuable suggestions!
