So before I started my diet, I bought this REALLY cute shirt that had rhinestones all over it. It was pretty tight when i bought it, but i figured "eh, im starting my diet, i'll eventually fit into it"... so today i tried it on, and IT WAS TOO BIG. it was seriously hanging off me.

So i guess its good that its too big, but im bummed i really wanted to wear that shirt!
oh well, i guess thats what losing 24 pounds does to ya!

:ohwell:

Good for you! Maybe you should thing about taking it to a tailor, I don't think it costs much to have shirts taken in!

Congrats on your loss!! Couldn't you just take the sides in, if that's where it's too big? If it's a tshirt, it's pretty easy to do yourself and there are tons of tutorials online about altering clothing to fit. I do it all the time! :)

I hear you, it's great to lose weight, but my mom had just taken me shopping for Christmas (since I was still wearing maternity clothes) and I got some really cute things that I only ended up wearing a couple months :( But great job losing!!

Great job! Bummer about the clothes and I'm sort of in the same situation right now but holding off on buying more clothes til I lose some more. Right now I'm just dealing with the baggy stuff and waiting to lose another 10-15 pounds before hitting the store again.

I had the same thing happen to me with a dress! I was just starting to diet and the dress was on sale but it was a little tight and I thought well I will put it up for the next occasion I need a nicer dress to where somewhere. Anyway when it came time to wear it a couple of months later...it was way too big. That's what I get for not wanting to pass up the deal...lol! It's still hanging in my closet. Perhaps I can get it altered... Anyway, I was way too happy about losing the weight to be upset over the dress for too long!
