Hi Everyone,
MFP is a great tool for tracking and meeting people with similar goals but does anyone know why we cannot put down calories burned for strength training?
If you have an answer, please let me know. I am curious about the subject.
Thanks!
Enjoy your journey!!!

You can , just select it under cardio and then use the Strength Training section to list the individual exercises.0

Yep, just type "strength" under cardio and it will pop up. I had the same question too when I started.0

Didn't work for me.0

What happened?
Was Strength training (weight lifting, weight training) not available as an option or...?
I can list a step-by-step if that will help.0 -
There are two things you can do on MFP:
Log strength training exercises individually (for personal record).
Log "strength training" as an e.g. 30-minute block under *cardio exercises* to give a (very rough) kcal-burned figure.0 -
Thanks for the advice everyone0
