Hi I am new to this all and started out with a daily cal allowance of 2250. I hit that mark a few times and mostly just in 1200-1500 cals.

First off let me tell you my schedule, I work nights

I get up at 12:30pm have breakfast at 2pm 3 eggs average, then off to work. I start work at 3:30pm and have a break at 6:45pm at which i typicaly have a sandwich, apple, and fiber one bar oh yeah and i am only hungry before i get to this break not after. I get another break at 10:30pm have a bowl of soup and a bowl of veggies. thats it done eating for the day.

During the work week i don't want to eat anymore now as i been doing this for almost 2 weeks, i am losing weight pretty good as I have a lot to lose.

Is there anything i should change to be more efficient?

    1976me,

It sounds like you're keeping a fairly consistent trend with your calorie intake and staying well below your baseline, which is great. Keep that up.

I see you didn't elaborate much about your water intake. And let me just say water is very beneficial if you want to lead a healthy lifestyle (I don't believe in the word diet). There's the old cliche "drink eight 8 oz. glasses", but that cliche does pay off. Drinking water not only keeps you hydrated but increases your metabolism, which in turn doesn't make you as hungry. So if you're not in the habit of drinking water, by all means jump on that train.

Being a night worker probably leaves you with limited time for a gym, so a simple walk around the block would suffice. For example, you can burn an average of 300 calories by walking a 2.5 mph pace for 65-80 minutes. It depends on how much you weight but the 65-80 minute timeframe correlates with an individual who is between 150-200 lbs.

Hopefully this information helps a bit, good luck.
