I put on 50 pounds over the last 6 years my bra size has shot up to an epic J cup.
I know step 1 is not consuming about 2500 calories everyday plus with little activity...I get that diet is about lifestyle and not just losing weight. Yes the situation was quite desperate and I decided to do something bout it.
I first started this dieting thing in January last year after topping the scales at over 13st. I just couldn't believe it.So I lost a stone (14 pounds ) over 3 months but stopped being stringent in April and put on half a stone within 3 months. I got fed up and really began in about mid-end July. The key was exercise.I walked for miles everyday except Sunday and from August till end of Sept.I lost 20 pounds. Then I stalled for 3 months.I didn't have time to exercise once I went back to university. It's only from about mid January this year, I decided to sort my body out.I havent really exercised like I did last year but i cut my calorie count from 1500 to 1100 and gradually I've lost 13 pounds. I just need to lose another stone before I can start toning up my belly and thighs. So I guess it's taken me 7 months to lose roughly 40 pounds (i've just put on 3 and a half pounds in the last 2 weeks )
Guess it doesn't help that I work the night shift as well and during those 12 hours I eat such rubbish and ofcourse I do not exercise at all during the day because I'll be sleeping. All I know is my frame is very very small and even at 144 pounds,I look very big. It's not really much difference from 185lbs. I was told I had very little muscle so I'm going to address that by doing weights and resistance training to change my body shape.
I have been informed that I can't target my belly for fat reduction but I can really work those underlying stomach muscles to get rid of my thick middle.
I'm more worried about the toning up exercises.I don't know how or what to do????
I can do this with peoples help though.I know I can, so I look forward to getting healthy with your help. Please feel free to add me I could greatfully do with all the support I can get.
PS I havent worn a bikini in a decade and would very much like to do so again (never mind the stretch marks).....so that is kind of motivating me too.
