So usually for lunch I would drink a 12oz can of diet pop. Half way through I would think why am I drinking this it doesn't taste good to me. I was just sick of drinking pop. I switched it with unsweet tea with two packets of splenda oh so much better!!! I will still drink one can occasionally. I am so over most of the diet drinks.!!! I drink water the rest of the time..

I did the same thing! On my way to work I would get a 32oz of Diet Dr. Pepper and sip on it all morning. When I decided to really get serious about my diet I cut it out and substituted with unsweet Tea. I feel so much better!!!0

I usually get straight unsweet tea or half unsweet half sweet but I'm sure adding Splenda is much healthier. Do you add the Splenda when the drink is cold?0

Splenda is better for you than diet coke and two a day is not bad for you. That was per THE Doctor's... I put it in the container in the morning than I bring it to work adn freeze the tea and have it for lunch.0

As you get used to tea you can eventually move from splenda to flavored teas and cut out artificial sweetners too- just a suggestion for a challenge!
Congrats to you folks on giving up the soda, I know folks struggle with that!0 -
I don't normally drink fizzy drinks (Only the occasional one if there's vodka in it). But to the other extreme I drink a lot of water - between 2-3ltrs a day, plus 2 cups of fruit tea, plus pint of skimmed milk! Think it might be a bit too much!0

This is something I'm trying to do! I think about 24 ounces of diet Dr. Pepper each day and want to switch to tea instead (I'm not ready to give up caffeine yet :noway: ).
I'm not a big tea fan, though. What kind of tea do you use?0 -
Tea does have caffeine in it I just got tired of pop.. I would waste the can bc I would just want it with my meal. I will still drink a can every now and then. Good Luck.0
