working different shifts. different calorie intake

Ok week days i work first shift and weekends thirds..i know i have to consume a lil extra when i do thirds because i am up all day and night..so i was trying to figure out how to do it on the app.. what i have been doing is have my normal dieting calorie intake sunday thru thursday and place it app to maintain weight friday and saturdays..am i doing this right...ne one else have this problem or issue?

I generally consider my days to start and finish at midnight, no matter when I sleep.
What you could do is zig-zag your calories - essentially take some calories from one day, and add them to another. Lots of people do that to get off a plateau. I don't see why you couldn't do that if you're going to be awake longer on one day, as long as you don't go under 1200 on any given day.
Your method should work, too. Your weightloss will be slightly slower, but it's always better to be comfortable and healthy than to lose weight fast.0
