For those of you who, like me, are new comers to the weight loss boards. This acronym has been baffling me since I first saw it. :embarassed: . I finally found a definition and thought I would share with the other abbreviationally challenged forum members!

If you searched NSV on the forums you would find out that is how I found out. LOL!!

BUMP merely "bumps" the post to the top of the forum and you can also find it again because you posted in it.

Bump has 2 purposes that I know of

1) it moves the thread up to the top of the list
2) it saves it on My Topics so I can go back to it if I dont have time to read it at the time or want to go back to it for any reason.
