I am new to MFP and I have been using this program in conjunction with excerise for 3 weeks, and I have lost 13 pounds so far. My goal is to weigh between 160 and 170. I haven't weighed 170 since high school. I am currently 262; I promised a friend that I would run in a mini-marathon in late September, so I am preparing for that as well. The supportive environment provided by MFP is a wonderful thing. We all need encouragement no matter how much we want to loose.
