S.B.F Challenge... July 26

Happy weekend and please welcome Flapjacks - pictured left. He's a handful, and my first cat to actually climb curtains! He and Iggy are playing together well. He gets introduced to the other cats today.

Yesterday I walked a bit at different times of the day. Today may be a mixture of elliptical and walking. I should do some yoga and weights as well. I'm trying to figure out a way to walk 7 miles once a week. Having 2 hours together in a day is difficult (I'm still hoping to do a trail here in town that 15 miles, so I don't want to split up the 7 miles)

Carrie - something that has always helped me with junk food is to plan when to have it. I'm allowed 1 dessert a week. So I plan it for say, Saturday night, then during the week, I don't want it as much, knowing that it's coming soon.

    Welcome, Flapjacks. I think that is among the cutest names ever. . .

    I just bought a "country walks" accessible by public transport book, so the hiking bug must be going around.

    Today is my training session (with a different trainer, for free, but I feel like I'm "cheating" on my usual trainer. . .I'm so drama)

    I'm still struggling with "day off or no day off?" with my workout schedule. I've decided next week I'm going to try one day that's just cardio and one day that's just strength. I'm trying to break out of the perverse psychology that I'm "cheating" if I only spend 30 minutes in the gym. Bleeeaaaarrrrgh.

    Just got back from the farmer's market with peaches! YUM!

    Today's plan...
    --BL Cardio Blast
    --25 push ups
    --Evening walk

    update. . .just burned 580 calories in an hour of training. My *kitten* is officially kicked.

    Bring on the peanut butter!

    Hey all!! Just got home from a long day! I didnt eat much today... Breakfast had an apple... lunch had Dairy queen.. .Couldnt even eat my entire meal! Usually I can eat it all and more! But still... Im now over my cals.. Im in the 1900 range cause of it haha I dont plan on exercising today. WAY too tired.

    Thanks everyone for the encouragement I guess you could call it yesterday, I was feeling better by the end of the day. It's ALWAYS the first day that KILLS me haha

    Mary - Thanks for the tip. I will try it out!!

    Usually I binge after about 5 days of not binging haha I havent yet!! Im so proud! Yesterday I wanted to sooooo bad but I didn't I did well!

    This week I want NO junk food except the one day. I will make it Saturday! Through this week I was having a bit here and there. I CAN DO THIS!
