Mini Goals

Hey everyone!! I've currently lost 19.8 lbs in a little over 5 weeks (which I think is totally awesome)! When I started, I did not make any mini goals, and now realize that I should because they will help to motivate me more :) So my question is where do I start with mini goals? Thanks in advance!!

    Congrats on your loss ^_^ That's a lot of weight to lose!

    For Mini goal I try to keep low so I don't disappoint myself if something comes up (example, getting sick and not being able to work out for a week). - I try to stick with a 6-8lb weight loss every month. Keep in mind, the smaller you are the longer it takes to shed those lbs!

    I'm currently 193, so 6-8might be reasonable for me, maybe you'll want to start off with a slightly larger number like 10-12lbs /mon :)

    Again grats on your weight loss you're doing an excellent job! Keep it up!

    Congratulations on all your success - you should be really proud!!!!!

    As for mini goals - I have to have them. I try to figure out dates that mean something rather than just picking a random date (for some reason it works for me) - so things like my birthday, my Goddaughter's baptism, July 4, etc......

    Then I figure how far away each is and set a realistic, but somewhat stretch goal. So, I know I can make it, but I'll have to work to get there. For example, my next goal is 13 pounds by my Goddaughter's baptism (5 weeks away). Remember, you can always adjust goals if needed - but I tend to plan out 3 mini goals ahead (I'm up to July 4th goals).
