Hey there, this is my first time on My Fitness Pal. I joined a gym at the begining of the year and have lost 12 pounds and for the last few weeks nothing. Then a friend told me about this site and have been tracking with my phone app for a week and I am down an additional 4.8 lbs! Love it!

Any tips, tricks, or motivating anything is welcome!

Great job so far!!! Welcome! Looks like you've already got the idea and are off and running. My advice is try to make this as much as a lifestyle and not a chore. If you go off track a bit, don't freak out! Just get back on. Look to see what your "maintenance" calories are, that way if you want to go out or have a what people call a "cheat meal" you can stay under and different set of cals without blowing it! Good Luck!

My tip would be to start collecting friends...I LOVE my friends - they motivate me every day!

I'll add you...Good luck on your journey!!
