Turbo Jam Calories Burned

Anyone have an idea about how many calories are burned doing the Turbo Jam DVD's. I am 142 lbs. 5'4". Also, does it get easier to keep up with them. Got it last week, have tried 3 of the workouts. Completed Learn and Burn twice. Still feel completely uncoordinated.
Does it get easier to keep up with them? What I find hard is that they don't do the same count each time, sometimes they do 4, sometimes they do 3 and they don't count down the moves. Will I eventually get used to this? I am used to Power 90 where everything is in sets of 8 and controlled movements.

It gets easier...Yes, she apparently cannot count very well and that is a bit annoying at times but I love Turbo Jam & burn serious calories according to my HRM. I would suggest getting one, they aren't expensive and are a better way to figure calorie burn.
Otherwise, search Turbo Jam under the exercise tab and it should come up. Enter the time spent and it should give you an estimate of calories burned to add to your log for the day.0 -
If you search for Turbo Jam it pulls up "Kickboxing (including Turbo Jam)" and I use that.
And it does get easier, trust me. I finished my first month and have lost 3.6 pounds (with also watching diet).0 -
It absolutely gets better (and easier) with time and practice! I'm a big girl and loving it! I have lost 15# since doing Turbo Jam (I do it at least 3-5 times per week) and a very modest caloric restriction of 1800 calories daily. I've lost 15# in around 1.5 months. Good luck! I love it- but it does hurt my knees, although!0

I'm a big girl and most cardio is difficult for me to maintain for any period of time. But with Turbo Jam, i find I can keep up 90% of the time, though right now on low impact. I think b/c it's fun, and she is always switching it up so you don't get bored. Stick with it, if this big girl can do it, you can do it.0
