I need Tri advice(sprint distance)

Are there any tri vets out there who can throw some pointers my way about what to expect, what to focus on(running is NOT the issue for me 3.1 miles is a warm up for me) good ways to train efficiently. I have four months. I have a tremendous base built up(if you arent my friends on here who know I am a distance runner half and full marathons) I am an excellent swimmer but kinda just breaking into hardcore cycling. Is that what I should work on most? Is eating similar to that of a marathon? Is a wetsuit really necessary? ANY advice is apprecited and absorbed. I am now like a sponge!!!!!
