NSV- a REAL size 8!

I have lost almost 30 lbs and am more than halfway to my goal, but despite doing everything right I've been at a plateau for the past week or so, which has really gotten me down. So I started thinking of how far I've come...

When I was bigger, I always still CLAIMED to be a size 8 because that was my size before I gained the weight... when I went to stores, I always tried on the size 8 first before going up a size... and another.. Even when I first started dating my current boyfriend, I was around a size 10, but I asked him to grab me a size 8 in a skirt I wanted to try on (and then secretly went and switched it for the 10 myself).

Now, I am an ACTUAL size 8, not just for show. I order things online in a size 8, and when they come, they actually fit (not just "oh, this'll be a perfect fit when I lose 10 lbs). I am not ashamed, like I used to be, of anyone seeing the size tags on my clothing. Today, I went shopping with my boyfriend, asked him to grab me the size 8 in a pair of pants, and slid them right on. They fit perfectly. And this was in a store at which I once bought a size 14 pair of pants (the only size 14s I ever owned... other than that I just tried to squeeze into 10s and 12s.. I was really in denial.)

I am a REAL size 8.... and THAT is my NSV :glasses:

Way to go! I can't wait to be an 8 (or smaller) and we have the same ultimate goal weight!
