Hello,
For the last couple of years we have been planning this awesome 2 1/2 week trip which is what prompted my weight loss journey, trying to look good in our family vacation photos! So I just wanted some advice from anyone who has been there or lived there, what is a must-see? We are staying in Kinsale the first week, traveling north to Adare Manor and then hitting some smaller towns, then ending the last 5 days in Dublin. ANy suggestions?

I was in Galway for a week in August. Absolutely recommend at least a couple days there if you have the time. Checked out the Cliffs of Mohr and the Aran Islands, also highly recommend them. I did spend one night in Dublin and had a great time going sightseeing (hop on- hop off bus was a good value) and drinking!! Haha. There was a GREAT restaurant called Elephant and Castle in the Temple Bar section- fantastic chicken wings of all things. Also check out the Bull and Castle restaurant if you'd like good Irish food and beer (besides just Guiness). Maybe just any restaurant with "castle" in the name is a safe bet ;).

I also went with my family- they had spent an extra week in Kinsale when I met up with them in Galway. They loved Kinsale and all their photos were just gorgeous!

Enjoy your trip! Such a beautiful country!

Spent two weeks last summer it was freaking awesome! We stayed one week at Adare Manor in one of their villas (from there we visited the southern parts including Kinsale) then traveled counterclockwise up the west coast into Northern Ireland and ended in Dublin. Message me and I will give you some suggestions that we really enjoyed.

Thanks so much guyse! I am a little worried about the Irish Fare though. I have been really successful on MFP and am nervous about not being able to track my food and eating out all of the time. Luckily we have an apartment the first week, so I can do a lot of grocery shopping. Anyone know what kind of foods in restaurants I can look for? I will be avoiding fish and chips for sure!
