Wondered if anyone could give me advice on the best fitness watch. I'm new to this part of exercising and am overwhelmed with the info online. I believe the best fit for me would be the basic watch showing heart rate and calories burned. Any feedback is much appreciated!

I am interested in the response you will get, I am getting one too. I heard if it has a chest strap it is better. Good luck.0

If you are looking for a watch that will give you your Heart Rate and Calories burned... I would go with a HRM that includes a chest strap as they are the best for this type of measurement. I was a bit apprehensive at first about the chest strap but I don't even notice it when i work out and I am now more confident in all the numbers of Calories burned and how much more to eat.
Company wise, there are going to be many opinions but I find that Polar is a fabulous company for HRMs. A bit "expensive" but very much worth it.0
