It's been beautiful here the past few weeks so I have been eating nothing but grilled food all weekend. Steaks and a cheeseburger all weekend! I feel horrible. I haven't had time to work out but I'm going to make it a point tomorrow to run my butt off at the gym. I feel so bloated and gross but the food is oh so good!! Oh well, I'm trying not to get too down on myself. Tomorrow is another day! Even though i will be eating grilled chicken off the grill tomorrow. I'm going to make sure to watch the calories!! I just had to complain about feeling so gross. Thanks

Summertime???? LOL it's still 20 degrees when I get up in the morning. It got into the 40's today. I'm waiting for the warmer weather. Yes..burgers are a favorite of mine..and they are deadly! Good Luck!! Stay away from the buns!0

Grilled food is not bad, in fact I think it's a great way to eat because you can see what you are eating - much more so than soups and casseroles and winter food.
Just keep an eye on the extras (sauce, salad dressing etc) that you are adding and you can be eating really healthy meals.0 -
grilled veggies - yum yum yum. also can grill shrimp, fish, chicken and if a burger is really calling your name, I just eat it in lettuce or with a knife and fork without the bun. grilling is a great idea!!!0

Try living in Phoenix. We've been BBQing all winter. And now it's getting too hot to workout outside. After it hits 110 we all hide indoors.0

Do you make your own burgers? You could make home made with a mix of ground turkey and ground beef? I had this awesome flatbread hotdog buns this past weekend they had hamburger ones too and, they actually tasted way better! My thing is gonna be macaroni salad once it gets summerish that's my fave summer food lol and let's just say I don't usually eat it in a reasonable portion size !0

Yes, summer. It's 90's here..that's summer to me lol.0

When I have a homemade burger I find it helps to cut out the middle of the hamburger bun. You still have bread holding the burger together, but it's not quite as bad. You don't even miss it.0

I wish it was summer here in Jersey! LOL...still starting out int the 20's-30's and getting up into the 40's-50's, even had some snow yesterday
Grilled chicken is great! even if you are gonna eat the burger or steak, just eat a smaller portion, and use salad/veggies/fruit to fill you up! I love a good steak!0 -
Very understandable. I feel "gross" too when I eat something I know I shouldn't have. Even if it's a small portion. Like you said, tomorrow's another day. Move on from the weekend and make up for it in the gym/eating over the next week. Although I give myself one day a week of a free day, I still make up for it the prior day or following day. I feel I'm too early in the process to give myself too much leeway.0
