I have a free app on my phone called cardio trainer and I entered my weight and strapped it to my arm (my phone) and it gave me how many calories I burned; then I compare that number with what the calories say under circuit training.

most people log it under circuit training, but the numbers i got using my Heart Rate Monitor were very different. i suggest doing a forum search, and maybe get some other ideas.

the workout hurts like hell, but the burn isn't as big as you would think, cuz of the weight training that's mixed in with it.

lol.....she kicks your butt doesn't she!!
I am like you....I want the results I've been hearing others have had so I am sucking it up
It really does get easier as you get into it more.....
I log it in a circuit training general

I enter it as high impact aerobics, some enter it as general circuit training. Circuit training to me seems to be too many calories burned for level one, so I will go with high impact aerobics until I get to level two.

I enter it as 20 minutes of circuit training. Good luck with the shred. I've started this month too!

I have a heart rate monitor to track my calories when I do it. I just put it in as "circuit training general" to check the calories there vs. my actual burn and it was pretty accurate! One thing though is that my burn can vary by as much as 50 calories depending on the effort I put into the 30 day shred. The burn listed under "circuit training general" reflects my burn (on level I) when I give it my ALL. Level II gives a litter higher burn and Level III is a little lower. Hope that helps.
