Today I just got back from a 7 day cruise. I was soooo worried I would gain weight during the cruise. But I really watched what I ate, but ate what I wanted. Plus I did utilize the gym 3 out of 7 days (could have been more, but I was relaxing....). Well when I got home I jumped on my scale... I was only .5lbs up from the morning I left, but that is with clothes on and in the afternoon, not just waking up weigh in, so my guess I'll be either 1 pound down or about the same.. That is the best ever! Last time I went on a cruise it killed me, I gained 5 lbs and stopped working out all together and gained all weight lost on a previous attempt. This time I vowed it wouldn't happen. It truly is mind over matter and possible!! YEAH!! Now gotta get back to losing!!
Thanks for listening!!

Yay!
That's the best feeling ever. I was so worried when I went on my week cruise in January that I would gain as well. But, like you, I ate what I wanted but made sure not to overdo anything. Heck I even had dessert every single night at dinner. Mmmmm lava cake.
When I got back and got on the scale the next morning it showed I had lost 1lb that week. Super stoked about that.
I was actually worried it would reflect a gain due to the water retention from the cruise. Man, that salty air will do a number on you.0 -
That's awesome! I need to learn how to do that. Last time I went on vacation, I gained 5 pounds in a week. Hopefully next time I do it I can have a success story like yours!0

Thanks for sharing! It just goes to show that you don't have to starve to lose weight. It's all about sensibility.0
