any other runners with fibromyalgia?

i am dying to run but my legs still hurt so freakin' bad. That is probably the worst, wanting to run, but having to wait. And biking is out because of the high winds today. UGH!
So I have only recently been diagnosed with this condition and I am concerned about the fronts and insides of my legs (calf muscles) feeling so bruised. I suppose it's normal with fibro to have pain in my legs, but this feels like the muscles are pulled or something. All the time. And as soon as it stops hurting and I run, then it's right back.
Maybe it's something as easy as making sure I stretch better before and after? I am frustrated and don't want to lose all the progress I've made lately.

Stretching afterwards is SO important, and ice is your friend. If you can stand it, an ice bath after a run can really help. Otherwise alternate cold and hot packs.
Good luck!0
