My parents are throwing my younger brother a going away dinner ( hes FINALLY going to college ). He requested my mothers beef enchilada's with black olive's, onions and cheese. Here's my question....how would I even begin to log that in my food log? Maye I should just have 1/2 a one or none at all ?

Sometimes I'll look up something like "Beef Enchiladas" and see all the entries... and choose what seems to be the average entry to log. So if there's an entry for 1000 calories per enchilada and another for 200 per enchilada, I might pick one that's around 700 calories. Does that make sense?

Or I'll just enter in as many of the ingredients as I can to get close: 1 flour tortilla, 1/2 c. ground beef, 1/4 c. cheddar, etc.

It's not perfect, but I think either way gets me to a close estimate.

    Hope that helped!

Get the ingredient list from your mom and input it to the recipes. Find out how many it makes and say it is that many servings. Then you'll know for next time too. :)

I"m pretty sure you would log the corn tortillas (90-110) for two then cheese, and black olives and beef. Estimate how much in each enchilada. I'm guessing 1/4 cup of meat and 1/8 cheese. Then enchilada sauce should be on there as well. :)

They shouldn't be too bad for two. :) Then eat them and enjoy that your little bro is moving on :)
