Bad news sometimes brings good results

I've been starting an exercise program and stopping now for a year. Never making it past two weeks of consistent workouts. Went in for a physical and my doctor says lose weight and then finds a lump in my left breast. Can you say wake up call!!! Although the lump is probably just from cystic breast tissue which runs in my family. The instant fear and realization that I am not taking good car of myself at all, hit me like a ton of bricks. I am committing to myself and my family to change my diet and workout to lose this weight. I need to be here for them and I have too much life left to live to throw it away.
