working out at work

I work at a department store, and walk around a lot. I put it in my exercises for the day, does that count ? I Put "walked, slow pace 2.0 mph" for 300 min (5 hrs) and it came out to around 850 cals. Is it really possible for me to burn that much just walking around work? I have no way of actually knowing how much I actually burned but 850 sounds like a lot! I just need someone to vouch that this is correct, or how I would figure out how much I actually burned while at work. Thanks!

I downloaded an app for my sony ericcson android phone called cardiotrainer. It is like a pedometer with GPS and tells you the distance you've travelled and calories burned. You can run it as a background app so you can still take calls, get messages etc... I use it on my daily walk but you could use it for a few days while working to get an idea of the distance you're travelling.0
