I've been using the site on and off for a while, but wasn't extremely serious about it. I am now ready to commit to myself and use this site for all I can. I have lots of weight to lose and have accepted that it will take time, patience, energy, commitment and perserverance to make that happen. There seem to be a lot of interesting people here from all over the world. I look forward to my journey and hope you don't mind if I share it with you.

  • You've said exactly what I've been thinking. I've lost weight some weeks, gained some others and haven't really been recording and tracking food or exercise. But that's going to change. I've planned my menus for the week, have diaried in some exercise and intend to fit into my summer clothes by this summer (I've been saying that for a few years now). Good luck, I'm sure you can do it.

it's really a great tool. when i started back in august last year, i was trying to lose weight for our vacation. with the logging of calories and exercise, i went over my goal of 10 pounds and lost 12 from august to november.
since returning, i have stopped logging and in turn stopped really paying attention (due to some life troubles getting me down)...and i've gained weight back.
so, i'm trying to get back at it because i KNOW it works!
    good luck to you all!!

Welcome back to MFP. I've been slacking on this website since Sept 2010. However for the last 2 mos I have been taking these more seriously and I am down 17lbs. I'm getting wonderful results from 30 Day Shred and Walk Away the Pounds.
This site is a great tool and the people are very supportive.
