scared of the scales

I like most people here are trying to shift some pounds.... I decided not to get on the scales untill i was happy with my reflection... trouble is i am nearly there and still too scared to climb on the scales!!

    Try this instead - keep track of your measurements (waist and hips). When you see your measurements go down, then weigh yourself. I've found that 1/2 inch reduction in measurements usually means some weight loss on the scales.

    You don't even have to do measurements to know if you're losing inches. If your pants are getting loose, then you're losing inches.

    And even if you have not lost weight, a reduction in inches is just as good, if not better!
