P90X vs JM Slimdown??

I am finishing up P90X and I'm really proud of what definition I have right now. I have the DVD s to start the JM slim-down and was planning on doing that after this round of P90X along with extra cardio which I have been doing through P90X. Has anyone done both programs and can you tell me how they compare? Will the JM be enough to keep the definition and strength I have gotten through P90X? Just some questions I want answered before I finish up P90X.

Hello,
I haven't done P90x but I am 2 days away from finishing the slimdown. I toned up a lot while doing it and I really enjoyed it. Since I don't really have any experience with P90x I can't really say how their difficulty levels compare but you'll probably need to stick with something pretty challenging to hang on to your results so I had a suggestion....Why don't you do the JM 30 slimdown but instead of using the 30 Day Shred dvd, use her new dvd called Ripped in 30. It's brand new and I've been reading up on it bc I'd like to try it. From what everyone says, its formatted just like the Shred only harder...I CAN'T WAIT! So anyways, that's a thought....just substituted Ripped in 30 on the days you're supposed to do the Shred. Good luck!!!0 -
Oh and by the way, I'm also planning to try P90x in the near future...I've been asking lots of people what they think of it. May I have your opinion as well?0

That's a great idea about the Ripped video. Thanks.
I have really enjoyed P90X. I have seen so many improvements in myself in the 90 days and I am going to be way excited when I can say I have finished it. I'm kind of tempted to do another round and just keep trying to up my weights.0
