Running Shoes

I recently added a new goal to my list of goals and it is to become a runner by this fall. I am looking for a good pair of running shoes. I tried on the Vibram 5 fingers this weekend and those do not work for me. I have heard that Vibram, Merrell, and Nike make shoes that are more of a barefoot feeling but would like people's opinions that have them and use them. So, let's hear your thoughts MFPers, what do you think of your current running shoes?

    I love my Saucony brand running shoes. I also run in Nike but prefer Saucony.
