Traking food when working nights?

I work nights and I have been logging all my food within the calendar day I am on in my food log but a lot of people I work with say I should track my food from when I wake up to when I go to sleep. I have only been using MFP for 2 weeks so I'm really not sure but I don't think it really makes a difference. Just wondering what other MFP night shifters think?

If you just look at an overall 24 hour caloric intake, it shouldn't really matter. It's your journal, track it however, you want.0

Hey, I have had lots of trouble with this... what I have started doing the calendar day thing, because it keeps everything more consistent. If I am up from 7a to 7a (school in the am, work at night), I log way too many calories on day and then the next day hardly any...
I do switch back and forth between night and day shift though, so this might not be of any help... I dont think it really matters as long as you do TRACK the food sometime0 -
My sis has hers logged in 4 hour intervals. try that starting around your normal wake up time. Just change the titles on your meals to times.0

It doesn't matter a bit! Just be consistent0
