So my new work out partner is coming over tonight and we are doing an official weigh in and begining measurments. What do you measure? What areas would a person be most likely to see results?
I know these are all very general questions but any answers are welcome.

The only measurement I'm tracking is a tape around my waist over my belly button and parallel to the floor. The way Dr. Oz tells it, you suck in your gut and make this measurement. Ideally it will be no more than half your height. This is supposed to measure your omentum, the fat around your belly, but beneath your abdominal muscles. This is the stuff that poses the greatest health risks as far as hypertension, diabetes and elevated cholesterol goes. After I get that number to the right spot (about an inch to go!), I'm planning to take other body fat measurements and get down to 17% body fat (if I'm not there already).
Good luck!0
