Small Weight Loss, but Toning Up

Hey everyone! I'm new to mfp! I'm super excited, and I really want to lose about 3 and a half pounds. Not too big of a goal, but I really want to focus on what I'm eating and how often I am exercising. Along with a lot of cardio (running, biking, walking) I plan on doing strength training to tone my body. I'm super excited to get back into shape! Any tips on what strength exercises to do?
