Hey, I have one of those WW Conair bathroom Scales with no manual...just 4 buttons: 'up arrpw', 'set', 'user', and 'down arrow'. It's supposed to tell me my BF% ... Does anybody know how it works?

Yes you need to hit set, then up or down to select male/female (based on the little figure to the left of the display) then hit set again then enter your height by holding the up arrow then hit set. Then it should flash 0.0 at you. Step barefoot on the thing and wait. it will show your weight then your estimated percentage. Although i find it's wrong. on here I am told I have 28% body fat based on height, age, gender and weight. The scale says 36%!!!! Why so different I wonder. or for use as a normal digital scale there is a little tab that sticks out the right front that you press in with your toe. It skips the other stuff and allows you to just straight weigh yourself.0

Do you find them inaccurate as far as the % or the weight? I think mine is fairyly accurate weight wise (correct with the Dr.'s scale) and 5lbs heavier than the analog scale I also have.0 -
THANK YOU! this is the scale I have... (not the one with the .pdf link) there are no longer instructions for it onlineYes you need to hit set, then up or down to select male/female (based on the little figure to the left of the display) then hit set again then enter your height by holding the up arrow then hit set. Angelica, if you haven't seen them yet there are a bunch of manual measurement scales at FAT 2 FIT RADIO well worth checking out see: http://www.fat2fitradio.com/ and: https://www.facebook.com/fat2fit?ref=ts
i know the WW scale has a bad rep... since I started fiddling with the "USER" buttons, i'm not sure I trust it at all anymore
<shug> ...maybe fresh batteries might help though... anyway might as well try and get it to work as intended.... when I got it at WW years ago... measuring BF% wasn't as important to me at the time and now that I want to ..the manual is nowhere to be found...0
