So, I really didn't want to be the one to raise my hand and ask this but, can I?
I'm just talking about 2 vodka's with 0 sprit and some lime?
Seems that I have so many calories at the end of the day...
Just a thought, but who's got an answer as to yes or no?

Hahaha you're awesome0

Well it's low carb, so it works for me! But I'm sure we'll get smeared with the "all calories are not created equal" sermon. *sigh*
Bottoms up!!!0 -
Well, at least you think so
I don't see anyone asking drinking questions.....!0 -
definitley, why not ?
people here save calories for glasses of wine all the time0 -
hahahah! made my day! I'm sure it's not nutritionally sound, but I've done it. Actually, I do the opposite--if I know I'm planning to go out for drinks I make sure to burn some extra calories ahead of time, but the result is the same, right?0

if you do drink calories i'd suggest maybe like a protein shake or a fruit smoothie! but i don't see why not. i'm all for some vodka!0

Why not!0

You'd be doing better than me. I have a bad habit of drinking calories that I haven't saved up : /0

Wine has more of a benefit (antioxidants)t than liquor, as does beer (to a lesser degree). However, if you have the calories for it, I say indulge in a spirit, or two!0

Okay. Seems there are more out there that think like me than I thought
It's all good0 -
Raise your glass!!
:drinker:0 -
I don't see why not. I still have about 900cal left for the night, and I think I'm going to have my 1st beer in two weeks!
Nothing wrong with enjoying yourself with an alcoholic beverage if you have calories left over!0 -
HELL YES YOU CAN! I drink and eat crap and I still lose. Almost 50 lbs down and still going! Cheers!0

lol...love this!!! #teamvodka!! If you can save calories for wine and extra spluges why not vodka!! :drinker:0
-
Cheers!!0

I believe the only down side is that your body will burn the alcohol before it burns fat calories. So if you are cool with that then raise your glass! Bottoms up!0

HAHAHAHA! I think I love you!0 -
Oh, I love you guys! I've heard the not all calories are created equal thing but my favorite is 'you know that it's just empty calories' - they are calories, and I'm not always hungry. I refuse to force feed myself so when my appetite is low, yes I do drink my calories and I enjoy every minute of it. :drinker: :smokin: :glasses:0

I would, but I totally am a lush. I booze.0 -
I think there are many of us who save our calories for a drink or two, but not all the time lol I do at least once a week or two...I see now harm but I make sure I eat good foods for the day!
Cheers girl0 -
Im a lush, and I vote yes ; )0

If it's wrong we're wrong together
I call vodka calories okay calories, especially if they include a bit of citrus.0 -
It actually does sound like a great way to get your extra calories.
And, if you do your workout BEFORE your drinks, and meet all your food goals, why not?0 -
As long as it's in moderation, I don't see the harm. You're getting in shape, not joining a convent. Go for it!0

i do it all the time, and i've managed to lose and maintain a 40 pound loss.
if you're going to drink after losing the weight, why not drink during the loss. you know, make sure your body doesn't forget it.0 -
