A little not so fun fact- beano is derived from a natural enzyme that mammals don't produce. This enzyme enables the digestive system to break down the plant sugar called cellulose, also known as fiber. So while beano relieves the discomfort of gas after eating various fruits and veggies, it actually raises the caloric content by making it so our bodies can absorb plant carbohydrates. I don't use beano but just in case any of you do I thought I'd let ya know! Plus it's kinda interesting :P
