Can't add ticker to my homepage

Can anyone direct me about how I can add my ticker to my homepage / newsfeed and to "my blog"? I copied and pasted the code as directed by MFP but no luck!

    I don't believe it's possible to add one to your homepage (although your lbs lost should be on the left side). There should be one on your profile page, though. As for your blog, I don't know if you can add one there or not.
