First week down and liking the number on the scale

I started using MFP exactly a week ago and have lost 7.4 lbs in 7 days! What are your experiences? Will this last?

    Wow! Well done! I'm 5 days in and resisting the urge to weigh in too early - dont think I'll have lost as much as you though :)

    My first 2 weeks I lost 11 lbs.

    Congrats on your loss.

    Will it last? Are you sitting down? No, most likely not BUT that doesn't mean progress is not being made on the inside though. Sometimes, a change goes on unseen before it can be seen. That's a great thing.

    Keep it up!!! I love this site. It's more than getting healthy physically. It's retraining my way of thinking. I love it!!!

    Awesome! Just keep in mind, that was probably mostly water. Not holding extra water means you are definitely on the right track though. Just don't get discouraged when you start losing more slowly...which you should. A pound or so a week on this plan will mean that you are actually burning fat!

    great job! It will slow down soon, since the first week or two you lose a ton of water weight

    I lost about 1 lb the first week xD always been slow for me!
