Okay so I started using mfp towards the end of January. I try to weigh myself at the end of everyweek and usually morning and evening to make sure it's consistant and not just fickle weight like from water or a big meal. Apparently i've lost 18 pounds but I just don't feel it! My stomach still seems the same since my shirts haven't signicantly gone all that looser it's only my bottom half that I feel i'm having to tie the draw string around my waist tighter and shorts that used to be snug around my thighs have let up a bit. Sometimes I feel like it's a bit of a joke anyways else with the same problems?

Your own visual perception of yourself is difficult to change... Even people who lose 50+ sometimes can't see it.

i have lost 14 lbs in 2 1/2 months..i am the same..i can't feel it, but i can tell in my clothes i have lost pounds and inches..i just can't wait till i hit the 20 mark..seems i have been in the teens forever..i weigh myself everyday, same time, and sometimes i lose as much as 1.5 lbs or gain as much as 0.9 lbs a day..i fluctuate like crazy..anyhow, great job on the loss, and feel free to add me if you like..best of luck:happy:

I have lost 10 pounds in one month. I had to buy a smaller pant size. I am pretty happy about it, but when I look at myself in the mirror with no clothes on, I still see my gross belly that doesn't look any smaller. So, I get what you are saying. 18 pounds is awesome. Feel good about that, and think about how good you will feel when you are all toned up and healthy

And I am still wearing the same shirts too. It will come! We will be looking awesome in a few more months.
