Hey guys, My name is Amanda. I am 31 years old. When I started my weightloss journey on Feb 26. I weighed in at 254lbs. Today I am at 234lbs. I have lost 20lbs so far. My main problem area is my stomach. I feel once I can get that off, then I won't feel like the biggest person in the room. I recently started zumba at anytime fitness 3 days a week (1hr) classes. I absolutely love it. The music, the instructor, and just working out with friends is really motivating. Now onto my question. I joined fitnesspal awhile ago. I am really trying to undersand the whole concept of calories in and calories out. I understand that it says you should always eat 1200 minimum but let me ask, when you are working out obviously you are allowed more than without exercise Do I need to eat he amount I am allowed or do I need to stick with what I was allowed before the exercise? I feel the past 2 weeks, Ive just been stuck. I have been losing about 1lb each week, and just getting aggravated. I am sure I am probably losing inches at least, but just wanted to see what all you were doing and whats working for you? I drink alot of water. Maybe about 4-5 sips of ONE diet coke a day about probably (4) 32oz glasses of water. The first week I lost 7 and the 2nd week I lost 11 and then 1 and 1. ugh...HELP!! Thanks!!

I know that you can adjust your calories based on the amount of exercise you do. Well, it does it automatically, anyway. Do you mean, when you exercise and it bumps the calories for just that day or in general? There are some people that say you shouldn't eat the calories you burned that day--you shouldn't take them into consideration. You should think of it as a bonus. If you mean in general, then you should go adjust your exercise settings and it will fix everything. Congratulations on your weight loss so far! That's really awesome. Don't get discouraged, you probably just hit a little plateau. You're still losing weight and that's the important thing0

Yeh I was just acting like I wasn't given any extra and just keeping it at at least 1200, and if something special came up,then I would have a little cushion if I went over the 1200. Yes I agree any loss is better than NONE. ha!! Im just ready to snap my fingers and be thin already, ha!!0
