Self control = Portion control

Hi Everyone!

I joined about a month ago, but just now got around to checking out the forum. My goal is not so much to lose a lot of pounds, but to slim up a little and, most importantly, gain better control of my eating habits. That way as I get older it will be easier to keep the pounds off. So bon appetit! (in moderation, of course)

    Congrats on making the commitment! MFP is a great tool and the community is awesome. Moderation and finding things you can live with every day are key. I recommend reading the "stickies" at the top of each board to familiarize yourself with the forums, and there's a ton of great info there. Good luck to you! :flowerforyou:

    I'm so happy you're making it a point to stay healthy & watch your weight. As you know, it's been a hard thing to do in our family. You are definitely a motivation to me :) Love ya!
