Hello. I'm new around here. I could use some help. I'm did Pilates tonight and I'm trying to track it with the exercise link, but there are no items in the strength training database and I'm finding it difficult to add it. Is it just me or is this area still under construction?

I just started pilates again after a long, long pause. Before I stopped, I was nearly at the advanced level of my Gaiam products. Back then, I had a cat named Diamond. He was a beautiful pure white domestic cat who valued his physcial fitness. Diamond was content to get on the floor near me and do is own stretching while I was immersed in my own pilates routine.

That was years ago and Diamond has since taken his position in the "balcony" and I have a new kitten. His name is Frasier and he doesn't really value his physical fitness. In fact, my husband has commented that when the cat lands on the ground it reminds him of the sound of a bowling ball hitting the ground. No. Fraiser is not at dainty or as elegant as Diamond -though Frasier is really cute and very affectionate.

Yesterday, I restarted my pilates. Frasier was watching me as I placed my stiffened body onto the floor mate. I was no longer doing the near advanced level I had achieved before the long pause. I had to submit myself to following the 70 yr old in the video who was doing a modified version of what the svelt professional was doing. But at least the 70 year old was keeping up with the reps -I was breathing hard and Frasier, oddly enough, had this look about him as if to say, "Now you know I can't dial 911, right?"

I made it through the first round though and boy were my arms sore! I love pilates and I'm eager to see if Frasier will eventually join me on the floor.
