Hey, my name is Kim and I'm fairly new to MFP (2 weeks in). I am a person that has always struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. Once I graduated college and took a job in the "real world", that struggle got even harder. A little over 2 years ago, I decided I had enough of my current lifestyle and that decision is what started my weight loss journey. In 26 months I have lost 38 lbs with a total weight loss goal of 43 lbs. These last 5 lbs have been my enemy for quite awhile now so I'm looking for suggestions, ideas, support, new friends, etc to help me reach my final goal!

    Hello and welcome!
First of all, congrats on the 38lbs you have already lost.
Think of those last 5lbs as your biggest fans....they want to be with you as much as possible. :)
The last few can be frustrating. It might be time for you to change things up.
Add some variety to your workouts. Change how many calories you eat from day to day (it's called zig zagging). One day eat 1300, the next 1200, the next 1400, etc....keep the body guessing.
So long as you have a deficit (you burn more than you eat) you will still lose weight. Even if the pace slows down, that is okay. So long as you are still progressing, slow if fine.

If you want specific ideas, just ask. Everyone is here to help each other!
