My husband and I are in the middle of INSANITY right now and then we are going to do P90X! I was wondering which weights would be good to buy so that we both have weights to use. I see there are adjustable ones that are supposed to save space and then regular ones that can sit on a rack.

Does anyone have suggestions for me?? Would like to get a good deal too. Don't neccessarily want to spend TOO much!!

I have 5 pounds weights, and a set of 10 pounds weights. I found the 10 pounds weights to be way too much for me for the amount of reps so 5 is great and still gives me a burn.

If you are trying to save money, you can buy the Gold's Gym weights from walmart. They are like $20. You will need to buy 2 sets make heavier weight.

I love the Soloflex weights, BUT if you are looking for something decent that isn't made of plastic that you can swap weights on fairly quickly.

That set works well for up to 20 pounds per hand.

I had the Bowflex weights, but swapped them out for Powerblocks, which I prefer a lot more. Easier to swap the weights, and they feel a lot more robust. Not the cheapest, but expandable. http://www.powerblock.com/

I have two sets. The Sport 2.4 (up to 24 lbs per hand) and Sport 5.0 (up to 50 lbs per hand).
