OMG, I just had the coolest idea! We should have a New England MFP people meetup at the Big E!!! It is September 12-28th this year!! I have been about 3 times before and it is SO much fun!!!!

    The big E??? Ack, hicksville! LOL, my wife talks about that all the time cuz she is from Northampton, I'm down with that. But the food, the food! Funnel cakes and candied apples would be the death of me.

    The big E??? Ack, hicksville! LOL, my wife talks about that all the time cuz she is from Northampton, I'm down with that. But the food, the food! Funnel cakes and candied apples would be the death of me.

    Yes, the food is rough BUT I went last year, just a few weeks after starting this plan and I did fine! I brought some snacks with me and had stuff in the "state" buildings..like corn on the cob and fresh raspberries, etc....and did ok!! :)

    Just stay away from the giant cream puffs!!! :laugh: :laugh:

    Oh girl! It's in West Springfield, Mass...right over the border from CT. Would probably take you about 2 hours to get there and me about 1 1/2 hours.

    The Avenue of States is so much fun! They have big buildings that are replicas of each states capitol building and holds things unique to that state to buy....arts and crafts and food! OMG, the Maine building has blueberry cheesecake and lobster rolls and these fantastic baked potatoes! HEHEHE!! But there are plenty of healthier options too!
