Please someone tell me how I fix dried chick peas!
I seen on someones post one day something about soaking them overnight and then draining them.......baking
in the oven with some kind of spice.
Any suggestions?

I soak them overnight, rinse, then boil until tender. Then I use them in whatever dish calls for chickpeas. (As a sub for canned ones)0

I just boil the heck outa them till they seem done, just like beans. But recently I saw some instructions that called for baking soda, it was Dr. Weil's recipe.0

Thats how I do it too. If I don't have time to soak them, I just boil them for longer (with the lid on, so that the steam can cook the chickpeas faster). If you have a pressure cooker, you can use that to cook the chickpeas really fast.0
