After seeing someone suggest to admin that they add some sort of a food pyramid tracking system, I went the USDA website and found this tool. I've been playing around with it for a few days and it's been helping me to get the right mix of nutrients, instead of just "hitting my calorie goal."

Go to: www.mypyramid.gov
On the right side there's a blue box titled "I Want To..." Select "Get a personalized Plan."
Fill in your info and hit "Submit."
On the right side is this statement: "Would you like to see a food plan that will meet nutrient needs for a ______, _ feet _ inches tall, physically active ________ minutes a day, in the healthy weight range?" Click the "Yes" button.
On the right side, under the pyramid, is the statement: "You can view/print the My Daily Food Plan Results and the Food Tracking Worksheets for any or all of the 12 calorie levels." Click that statement.
Then you can download PDF documents that break down the body's nutrient needs for specific calorie allotments.

I downloaded the 1200, 1400, 1600 and 1800 calories per day so I can always see where I need to be, with varying exercise levels, or without.
